Sneaky Peek Saturday

Working amidst all the distractions is proving difficult lately plus I think the only thing I haven't gotten back fully is my attention span...what used to come easy is like pulling teeth lately.

Still.....while working on pattern writing I have managed to keep working on some beading in the evenings and here's a sneaky peek at some of the things in progress.

The turquoise skull piece is for me, a beaded chain maille necklace.
Another piece in the Industrial Chic Corrugated Peyote series and a Deco bracelet that was to be for the Beadsmith Project but on seeing the picture I'm not happy with the match between clasp and beads (that's why it's not even in the picture).  Back to the drawing board on that one, I think.  Though I like the bracelet so I'll just have to come up with another clasp.

  1. I love love love tall of these pieces! I love the dark antiquey silver colors here...just gorgeous! I love that bracelet...can't wait to see the clasp you choose for it so you can wear it!

And this Industrial Chic collection of yours is just awesome...I would wear every piece I have seen so far!

  2. Thanks Tia :) Actually, with the bracelet there's something I've wanted to do for quite a while now and as this bracelet has the undulations I need it may well morph into that something :)
I was looking at my design sketchbook and there are a LOT more ideas using the corrugated peyote...just need the time and six more pairs of hands.

  3. a fashionable bead board!! Nice! I have those same turqoise skulls...sitting in a box somewhere lol....they all look amazing!

  4. Thanks...the bracelet got taken apart...reworked to make the rivoli into a button clasp. I need to make one more link and then it will be done.
Then I designed a necklace for the Beadsmith clasp and got started on that :)
