I've been down with some kind of illness that drained me of energy and even worse the ability to focus. So, what does a beader do when that happens? If you're like me doing nothing is pretty much an impossibility...if I'm not in bed drugged into sleep I HAVE to be doing something.
After trying to design, after trying to follow one of my own patterns, after trying to play with clay I gave up on anything where I had to concentrate. I pulled one of my freeform peyote kits and meandered my way through this little cuff. Apparently I don't need my brain to do these.
Small world!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter (a precocious 7 year old) loves beading; mainly flats. I was showing her beading sites on the internet and lo and behold what do I find.
Fabulous work!
Glad to see the artist alive and hope all is well.

I hate when that happens and I can't concentrate on beading or any other craft. That's why we're called bead addicts (or craft addicts). We NEED our daily dose of beading!
ReplyDeletePoop, sorry you've still feeling so low. The black freeform is tantalizing and I can hardly wait to see it in person. Only you would have the courage to pick black to work on. Concentration not my prob when sick. The sitting up part is. Miss you...hope to see you Thurs.
